Dear friends and colleagues,
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Vancouver, Canada for the ICOI World Congress XXXV. Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities in North America and I hope you will enjoy all that it has to offer from its spectacular geography to its many culinary delights.
Implant therapy is one of the most successful treatment modalities in dentistry due to the excellent biocompatibility of titanium and the process of osseointegration. However, biological success is only one part of a restoration’s long term clinical success. This meeting will focus on the latest techniques and technologies for achieving long term implant success.
The ICOI World Congress XXXV will hit the ground running Thursday morning with multiple pre-congress lectures and hands-on workshops. This will be followed by the popular “Young Implantologist’s Program”, which will showcase up and coming clinicians from around the world. The program continues Thursday evening with the not-to-be-missed Table Clinics and Poster Presentations. Enjoy a drink during the cocktail hour and see what your colleagues are up to.
The two-day main podium scientific sessions will begin on Friday morning with top speakers from North America and abroad including ICOI President-Elect Dr. Michael Pikos. The focus of the lectures will be achieving long term implant success. Attendees will gain a wealth of knowledge by seeing what the leaders in implant dentistry are doing in their practices and how to incorporate these techniques into their own clinical practices.
Of course the ADIA will also host its program for the entire auxiliary implant team. The ADIA main podium will feature renowned speakers addressing issues crucial to implant success. On Saturday auxiliaries can choose one of four full day certification courses that are sure to educate and energize.
I invite you and your entire implant team to join us in Vancouver for the ICOI World Congress XXXV. You will be glad you did!
